My New Blog

Well, winter time has finally set in for me as I look out at the snow falling.  I'm not a big fan of the snow, but I guess it looks pretty good as long as it doesn't add up.  As the temperatures drop and so does the stock market, the opportunities in buying real estate are abundant.  Rates are very, very attractive for a buyer today and don't forget the $7500 tax credit for first time homebuyers.  As a seller, inventory numbers have drawn down a bit and there are less homes currently to compete with.  The stock market and the job market are obviously not very good at all right now in our country.  However, if you have some job security and didn't lose a ton of money in the market collapse, I strongly encourage you to buy real estate.  Real estate over time has been proven to be a stable assest and one that grows over the years.  We all need to get back to buying houses as a home rather than as a money maker.  Your house will make you money if you have the patience and a plan to live there for a good amount of time.

I encourage you to lean on me as a resource for you and to help with advice.  Give me a call or email today.
